We are so excited to offer Mini-Nubians for the 2010 kidding season! This will give the small backyard farmer an opportunity to have a high production milker in an easier to handle size. Their smaller size makes them much easier to handle than their larger relatives, so hoof trimming, clipping, showing and milking become much easier. Smaller goats are in demand in the pet market, but are catching popularity in the show rings. The influence of Nigerian Dwarf blood may serve to expand the breeding season past the fall months and increase the butterfat in the milk.

Flights Of Fancy Farm’s main goal with the Mini-Nubians will be to produce a hearty dairy goat that displays a sweet temperament and a superior mammary system. All our Nubian does descend from high production dairy bloodlines with outstanding mammary genetics. Pairing these does with a *S Nigerian Dwarf buck that carries proven dairy genetics will prove to produce Mini-Nubians with improved dairy characteristics for the milk room and show ring.

All our Mini-Nubians will be registered with the Miniature Dairy Goat Association.
